Fernando Verdasco is suspended for two months because he forgot to renew a therapeutic exemption for his Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) medication and tested positive for methylphenidate.


The 39-year-old Spaniard has agreed to the ban and his suspension will expire on January 8, 2023.


A TUE, or Therapeutic Exemption, allows an Athlete, for medical reasons, to use medications containing prohibited substances for a specified period of time.
