Anatoly Golyshev said that in the Islanders he was tired of constant lies.





- This is a great experience, a serious test for me and my family. I don`t regret leaving. Of course, I lost money, but the only thing that worries my heart a little from a hockey point of view is that they didn`t let me fulfill my dream. My big family is always with me. A contract is a thing that comes and goes. There are things much higher than that. I have a dream, like any kid who plays hockey not for money. This dream has remained. I went to the NHL just to play. I lived this dream, I thought that I would play there for a long time. It did not work out, but I understand that this attempt did me good. I`ve been sitting here too long, I needed a change of scenery. Now I`m back and everything suits me - I want to lead the team to the Gagarin Cup.





- They said: Don`t worry, it won`t be long. We are looking for an opportunity to exchange players. They said that I would play a lot in the first team. But it was not true, because these people are still in the main team. Out of respect for the guys, I will not name their names. And for those who said all this, I simply have no respect.





- When I was picked up from the AHL and not allowed to play. I did a warm-up and returned to the podium again. The general manager [Lou Lamorello] came up and said, `This is not my decision. This is the coach`s decision. The next day I skated in the main team, after which again only a warm-up. And I realized that my head was already at home and I want to return.


I had opportunities for exchange - four teams were interested. But I already understood that I wanted to go home - I was tired of the fact that they went over my ears. I`m the kind of person that I`d rather say straight out. Let it be a bitter truth than a sweet lie, - the Avtomobilist forward said in an interview.
