Carlo Ancelotti is one of the candidates for the post of coach of the Brazilian national team.


According to UOL Esporte, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) wants to appoint a world-famous coach for a new cycle, with an eye on the 2026 World Cup.


Even before the start of the 2022 World Cup, CBF was in contact with Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti, who heads Real Madrid. Guardiola was not interested in working with the Brazilian national team, and after some time he extended his contract with Man City until 2025.


Ancelotti was first contacted in October. He was open to negotiations and said that he was ready to move on to a more specific discussion after the draft was presented to him. However, the Italian warned CBF representatives that he would be able to lead the Brazilian national team only in June 2023. Ancelotti wants to finish the season at Real Madrid.


The Italian`s contract with Madrid runs until June 2024, so CBF will have to negotiate with the club about the departure of the coach. If Ancelotti agrees to take charge of the Brazilian national team in the summer of 2023, then CBF will have to find a coach who will take over until the arrival of the Italian.


Ancelotti took charge of Real Madrid for the second time in the summer of 2021. Last season he won La Liga and the Champions League with the club.


Carlo became the champion in Italy, Spain, Germany, France and England. He also won the Champions League four times. In total, he has 24 trophies at club advised by buy football tips level.
