The Lakers are not considering trading center Anthony Davis, insider Chris Haynes reports.


Any dialogue of this nature would require his agent, Rich Paul, to receive calls from interested teams asking if Davis would agree to a contract extension if they traded for him. According to sources, there were no such conversations, Haynes writes.


The Lakers are in second-to-last place in the Western Conference with a 2-9 record. Davis, 29, is averaging 23. 0 points, 10. 2 rebounds, 2. 5 assists, 1. 3 steals and 1. 9 blocks per game.
