Times:Diego Simeone wants to take on Manchester United

Diego Simeone`s Atletico (Madrid) coach is ready to move to just one English team - Manchester United, the Times newspaper writes on today`s pages. Earlier, it was reported that the Argentine was tightening for Antonio Conte`s position in Chelsea. 47-year-old Simeone, whose contract with Atletico expires in June 2020, is also open to suggestions from Italy and Spain, where he spent much of his career. But in the English Premier League he can only be tempted by Manchester United, with whom he has already held talks in 2014. Under the direction of Simeone, matuscats have become a regular and serious competitor of Real Madrid and Barcelona in the battle for the Champions League title and places. With him Atletico won the championship, the Cup and the Super Cup of Spain, Europa League, the Super Cup of Europe and twice reached the final predicted by dropping odds of the Champions League.
